Team of brave fundraisers walk across fire for our mito families

On Tuesday 30th April 2019 over 1000 people descended on Newcastle Falcons’ Rugby grounds to participate in a potential World Record breaking Firewalk.

Many charities took part, including our own, where 20 brave fundraisers challenged themselves to walk across fire all to raise money for the foundation. However, a team of fundraisers from Barnsley in Sheffield made the two-hour trek up north to raise funds specifically for one of our clients called Daniel, who is currently fundraising for a specialist hydrotherapy pool.

Team Daniel raised over £2,500 for his cause, whilst Team Charlie raised over £1000 for the foundation, so a fantastic event that we’ll definitely be taking part in again next year.
