Corporate partnership

Raising money is vital for our support to continue, but raising awareness for mitochondrial diseases is just as important. Partnering with corporate bodies gives us an opportunity to do both, and there are many ways in which companies and organisations can support our work.

How can companies support the foundation?

They can:

  • Choose The Charlie Gard Foundation as their Charity of the Year

  • Encourage employees to enroll in GAYE
  • Sponsor a fundraising event

  • Promote our merchandise and literature

  • Gifts in kind

  • Donate prizes for our fundraising events

  • Employee and customer fundraising, such as cake sales, dress-down days, group challenges etc.

How can companies benefit from our partnership?

Choosing a nominated charity such as ours will help your organisation motivate staff and encourage team building as you support a cause that has brought mitochondrial disorders to the forefront of research and family support. You’ll be increasing awareness for an illness that kills more children in the UK than childhood cancers, whilst also meeting your Corporate Social Responsibility objectives.

You’ll increase staff and customer engagement, create a positive impact on the company’s staff and clients whilst also developing your image through positive and supportive PR.

When building corporate relationships, it’s important to us that we work together to achieve and develop our common goals. We’ll work with you to encourage new ideas you may have and work together to incorporate fundraising ideas that will benefit both charity and company.

If your company is interested in supporting our work, or if you have any questions, then we would love to hear from you. Please do drop an email to stephanie@thecharliegardfoundation.org for more information.
