Sunday 16th September 2018 marks the start of Mitochondrial Disease Awareness week, and to celebrate such an important date in the mito calendar we are proud to launch Charlie’s Gifting Week too.

From 16th– 22nd September 2018 the Charlie Gard Foundation opens its doors to any family or individual that is affected by a mitochondrial disease. We’re giving people the opportunity to receive precious memories that they can treasure throughout their mito journey and beyond.

We have three gifts to choose from and each applicant can pick one gift to receive absolutely free. Our gifts are as follows:

  1. A family photo shoot and £50 of printing vouchers in collaboration with the Butterfly Wishes Network. T&Cs apply.
  2. A personalised family print kindly provided by Lu Lu personal gifts, and the choice of a bespoke family keepsake made from family clothing and provided by Love, Keep, Create.
  3. A family hand casting session with a local casting studio or home kit, whichever is most convenient.

At the Charlie Gard Foundation we understand and appreciate that family time is precious, and we hope that these family orientated gifts bring some comfort and pleasure to the lives of mito sufferers throughout the UK.

To apply for any of the above gifts, or for more information, please contact stephanie@thecharliegardfoundation.org.
